Repair Estimate, Multi-Component, or Full Replacement
What the estimate needs to cover depends on how far the damage actually spread, not on what anyone hopes the outcome will be.
Localized Repair Estimate
Defined damage such as wind lifted shingles on one slope, a damaged vent, or torn flashing. The estimate identifies the existing materials, the repair method, and the quantities, with photographs tied to each location on the roof.
Multi-Component Estimate
Storms do not stop at the roof edge. Roofing, gutters, siding, screens, and skylights get measured and priced separately so each trade's scope stays legible on its own rather than blended into a single number.
Full Replacement Estimate
Where conditions support tearing off to the deck, the estimate addresses removal and disposal, deck repair, underlayment and ice barrier, starter, shingles, flashing, penetrations, ventilation, and ridge, plus any code driven items the tear off triggers.
